Ujjwala Bidaa The Huntress
Character Name— Ujjwala Bidáá (Isabella II)
Concept— Biological daughter of Lady Theresa of Reavdril and Tirsan II. Named after her grandmother, the current ruler of Reavdril. When she was four years old she was taken on a caravan north by her mother to present to the noble court of the Northern League. The caravan was attacked by bandits when crossing the Selundian Plains. Her mother was killed in the attack along with her councillors and house guards. The bandits set about looting the caravan when they themselves were ambushed by a tribe of wild men from the plains, apparently the tribe thought the bandits were a threat to their territory. After the brief, one-sided and bloody fight the wild men began striping the bandits and caravan alike of useful items. While doing so they discovered Isabella. Confused how she could have survived both battles and unwilling to kill a child so young they took her in and made her part of the tribe. Isabella was taught their ways and was given the name Ujjwala Bidáá, meaning Bright Eyes. She earned much respect in her tribe for becoming one of the tribes best hunters, seeming to be unaffected by the darkness or distance from the animal. If she could see it, she could hit it. Everything was going well for her, but she still had questions. She knew she was different then the rest of the tribe, she bore no resemblance to any of them and no matter how long she stayed out in the sun her skin would not match the color of the others. She also had dreams, indistinct though they may be, of city life and her mother. She asked her village elder about it and he told her of the day the tribe discovered her. She reeled from the knowledge of how she came to be part of the tribe and decided to set out for answers. The elder tried to convince her that it didn't matter who she was originally, what mattered is what her life had become but she remained unconvinced. She decided to go on a vision quest to discover the answers to her questions about her life. There she met Misun, a Great Wolf. When they first encountered each other she thought the beast would attack but it didn't. It seemed to posses a intelligence she had never seen in a wolf before, seeming to understand her words. It taught her to understand its words and told her that he too was searching for his path and perhaps they could seek it out together. Seeing it as a sign from the spirits, she excepted and began her trip back to her tribe. When she returned nothing was left but the burnt remains of her village, bleached bones and the signs of a battle. There she found the remains of her first Orc. She knew immediately that these were the creatures responsible for the destruction of her tribe. Misun informed her what the creatures were and what they have done to his people. They decided that until they discovered their true paths they would dedicate their lives to hunting these abominations. She has been tracking a large group of the creatures heading north for weeks, picking off stragglers whenever possible.
