Orebridge (map...) is a strategically and economically important mining town in the Southron Marches of the Northern League. It's nickname is "Gore"-bridge because it's been raided so many times by goblins, orcs and trolls. Traditionally managed by an appointee of the trade guilds of Harol, Lord Latswin and his allies from Granmar have recently taken control over the region through numerous deft league council maneuvers.
With the newly recruited refugees from the disputed regions east of the League, Orebridge is due for some major changes. Already Lord Latswin has constructed a new world-class inn for the center of town along the Old Stone road. Rumors of Dwarven allies protecting the mines couldn't hurt investment prospects from all over the League.
How will the disgraced and now excluded Trade Companies of Harol react to the take over? How many goblins stayed in their nearby stronghold of Soper? Will they continue the raids? What happened to the Moses-like elder of the refugees? Have the relocated men of the North finally found a refuge from the storm of violence they have endured over the last several years? How will new plans shape settlement and fortifications? Will the citizens of Clummen's Mill take action over the repeated river use violations of Orebridge's smelting plants? What treasures lie in the deeps of Orebridge's mines? What happened to the Southron company of march wardens?
