Arnulf Wulfe, The Bloody Handed
Character Name— Arnulf Wulfe
Concept— Arnulf started out his life on the streets of Grondinium, as so many criminals do. He quickly found a taste for pushing people around and enjoyed the feeling of power it gave him. He soon joined a gang of like minded people and started his criminal career with muggings and other crimes of a petty nature. He longed for the times when his victims would resist and he'd get to beat them senseless, but always felt as if he was being held back by the rest of his gang. One night, his gang approached a drunk wandering their turf. The man refused to give them his money and Arnulf thought it would be just another chance to do what he loved most. As it turned out the man was not as defenseless as he seemed and impaled Arnulf on his dagger. The rest of Arnulf's gang scattered, leaving Arnulf to his fate. The man looked down, smirked and said, "You're not worth the effort it would take to end you", then disappeared into the night. Arnulf dragged himself to a healer his gang was in good standing with and spent the next 6 months seething over what had happened to him and vowed he would become better then the man who had wounded him, whoever he may be. After finding out who it was that had injured him, he devoted his life to Grondiniums assassin guild, taking any job they would give him. He finally found what he was missing in the muggings, the feeling of holding someone's life in his hands and watching it slowly fade away was like nothing he'd ever felt before, but he never lost sight of why he began his new life and hasn't to this day. Now he is regarded as the second best assassin in Grondinium after Acerbus, and is master of Viridiana, the girl Acerbus was to mentor. He insisted that he be the assassin to train her after Acerbus retired and sees her training as yet another way to prove himself better then Acerbus. He soon became obsessed with the girl, and "loves" her as much as a person like him can love anyone. But he is starting to have doubts about her of late, she may eventually become a threat and dispatches her targets a little too quickly to be just related to her training or luck. If she is hiding something, then she'll be no better off then all the other people who he's murdered.
